I heard ya'll's snow plowers took one look at this and said; "Fuck it!" Hang in there and have some hot cocoa. I'm sure there'll be a story to tell after the fact.
Well, the sun is shining now, just three hours after I took that photo, the snow is trickling off the roof, but still blowing through the air! We are still accumulating inches as it melts.
Impressive. Most impressive.

ReplyDeleteWow, I thought you'd be immune to that kind of weather down there.
ReplyDeleteNah. We're in the northermost part of Texas. The weather here is usually unpredictable, but we did see this one coming.
DeleteWow! I imagine Texas covered in cactuses and tumbleweed, not snow - shows how much I know about a state 3 times the size of the UK :(
ReplyDeleteTexas is three times the size of the UK?! I didn't know that! That's awesome.
DeleteI had no idea... wanna borrow my shovel? You have more snow than we do! :)
ReplyDeleteTurns out it's the second most snowfall in a 24hour period in recorded history (for amarillo). 19 inches today compared to 19.3 inches in 1934!
DeleteWhat the heck is that?!!! Looks like Minnesota!
ReplyDelete:-)
Pearl
Not for long! The powerful Texas sunshine has already slushed us over.
DeleteDo you get the day off work with that snow Nessa?
ReplyDeleteHeck, no, Dicky. My boss got out in his 4x4 and drove us all to work!
DeleteOh joy! What a great boss...
DeleteLOL what a great caption :)
ReplyDeleteNow, that's some snow! Just found your blog. So glad I did...
