BOOSH! and whoomvoom

My dreams lately are filled with images and noises that cannot be described with words. The craziness of them is far too unreal for ordinary perception. My daughter was there dancing like this, but she was my sister. My ex-boyfriend was waiting for me at the hospital/bed store while an old friend of mine was in surgery. Not his friend; my friend, so I don't understand why he was taking time out of his busy life. Oh wait...groupies...
For these dreams I need visual aids and sound effects.
Adrien Brody was inlove with me and willing to fight a triclops for my honor. They were over here and then BOOSH...everything exploded and the the triclops's third eye started to do a weird wandering thing, moving across his forehead like this...whoomvoom...
We all lived in a see-through tube. Layer by layer, stacked up by our status of importance to the world. I was somewhere in the middle, nowhere near the foundation I craved and definitely out of reach of my father's gods. Yet also on display for anybody who cared to bring themselves to my level.
At times, you were naked.
And so was I.

See what I mean? There are no words.

  1. The sound effects do make for interesting descriptions. Your bit about the tubes reminds me of parts of Slaughterhouse Five.

    1. Only in my dreams could I ever compare to Kurt Vonnegut.

  2. I prefer to stay out of reach of the gods too. If the gods don't bother me, I won't bother them. And naked is good >:)

    1. Lots of people who quit smoking report having more lucid dreams. Nicotine can improve your short-term memory, and since you are no longer smoking, the other chemicals in cigarettes aren't suppressing your short-term memory, allowing you to remember your dreams more clearly when you wake. As the nicotine decreases in your system, your dreams will become less lucid.
Don't ask me why I know this. I never smoked in my life.
      (But I do dream.)

  4. I'm envious of your dreams--and that you remember them so well. Maybe if I had vivid dreams I'd remember them too?

So, does this explain your colorful new header? I love it. Is it your work?? :)

    1. I did paint that! I tried to take some photos, but the weather wasn't cooperating for what I wanted, so I painted this in about a half an hour and gave the original to my daughter.

  5. I always feel like my dreams are too short - someone usually wakes me up just when I want to stay in them.

    1. If I wake up during a dream, it's usually from fear. Lots of that going on lately...
